The Healing Properties of Coconut Oil + Coconut Recipes!

by Arielle J on January 17, 2012

Ever since taking a coconut cooking class with Myra Kornfeld a few weeks ago, I’ve been chopping lots of coconuts, drinking lots of coco water and cooking with lots of coco milk and coco oil. I also have even slathering coco oil on my face every night before I go to bed!

It’s def one of nature’s best kept secrets because it’s good enough to put in your body AND on your body*…healthy AND healing AND moisturizing AND anti-bacterial AND delicious!

(*please make sure its good quality)

Here’s a very informative article written by my coconut teacher, Myra, on the The Healing Properties of Coconut Oil!

Btw- If you don’t like the taste of coconut, you can always use good quality expeller pressed refined coconut oil. It’s a little more processed than the virgin kind but you’ll still get the same great benefits with out the taste.

Check out some of my recent treats made with coconut:

Hazelnut-Vanilla Milkshake- made with: coco water + coco meat + hazelnut extract + vanilla extract + ice. Literally tastes like ice cream!
