My client, Krissy emailed me this after she received her iloveme rings (one for herself and one for her mom).
Just 7 months ago (August 2011), her 23 yr old brother, Doug, was killed in Afghanistan. He was supposed to come home 3 months later.

Hi Arielle,
I just wanted to say thank you SO much for the gorgeous iloveme rings and to share a quick story with you. I am not sure if you knew or not, but my little brother was KIA (killed in action) in Afghanistan 6 months ago. He was only 23 years old and he was my best friend since we were only 20 months apart in age. His death was extremely hard on all of us especially since he was nearly done with the Army in a couple of months, he was what held our family together and always made us appreciate the little things in life. Since his death, we created a foundation in his name called the Douglas J. Green Memorial Foundation and all proceeds go to taking care of soldiers overseas and soldiers after they have come home. If you’d like to know more about our foundation please see our blog at: http://dontstopbelieving-us.blogspot.com/
Maryclare Sweeney was the one who introduced me to this gorgeous ring and explained to me what it meant to have it and why SHE wears it every day. It really inspired me, not only because I think it takes a strong woman to love herself, but to know she had her own message behind why she wore it. I saw the ring and instantly became in love with it. I am a changed person since the death of my brother, and I have been struggling to find myself and to also love myself. I wanted to let you know that by buying this ring I was going to reward myself by “loving me”, because that is what my brother would want.
I also bought one for my mother, who I know has been struggling the most through this and she needs to know that its okay and important to love herself through this very difficult time. We will both wear our rings proudly everyday in honor of my brother, and also as a reminder each and everyday day to love ourselves unconditionally. Thank you again for your beautiful design and I will be sure to tell the WORLD about Be Well With Arielle!
Best regards,
Krissy Green

May his memory live on and may we remember to ALWAYS love and take care of ourselves, FIRST.
Let’s also help each other and give back to the people supporting our country. Because of Krissy and Doug’s story, I’m going to donate an iloveme ring to a woman in a Gold Star Family who lost her boyfriend/almost fiance and love her live due to the war. Sending her a ring next week and surprising her with it on her doorstep! Thats MY way of helping and adding hope and happiness to her life. Figure out a way that works for you – money, food, donations, clothes, support, love.
be peaceful. be supportive. be well.
xoxo
be well,
arielle
