If you love fries, you will LOVE these even more…
Delicious. Healthy. Satisfying. Sweet. Healthy. Salty. Did I mention Healthy? What more can you ask?
Oh- and they are SO easy to make. PERFECT winter snack and side dish…especially when you’re craving sweets (eating sweet veggies will naturally crowd out your sugar cravings).
Ingredients:
– Squash (I used a mix- kabocha, delicata and butternut squashes. You can also use sweet potatoes and/or yellow and green zucchini/squash.)
– Olive Oil or Coconut Oil
– Sea Salt
1. Cut up squash into strips like fries.
2. Sprinkle some oil and salt on top, or place in bowl and toss with oil to evenly coat each piece.
2. Place on parchment paper or cookie sheet and bake for about 30 min at 350 degrees. Turn them over every 10 minutes.
3. Broil for 5 min (to make them extra crispy and brown on top)
(Or, you can just broil for about 15 min to save time and skip the baking step.)
4. Voila!
Mmmmmmmmm…….
Be Crispy. Be Salty. Be Well.
