Would you believe me if I told you I experienced a miracle today? I was called to serve on jury duty this morning and I have been having anxiety for daysssss about it. I just didn’t want to deal with getting questioned, I didn’t want to waste my time sitting there and I definitely didn’t want to get picked.
My alarm didn’t even go off this morning, so off I went and rushed to Tribeca for an 8:45am arrival. I had my computer, magazines, lunch, snacks and even my taxes packed. When I arrived to the juror’s waiting room, I sat in the chair, closed my eyes, took a deep breathe, and said to myself, “I really don’t want to get picked. Please… I expect a mini-miracle”.
A little before we were going to be let out for lunch, the jury waiting-room announcer guy said “we have a miracle, everyone. You’re done! You don’t even have to come back tomorrow, not for another six years.” Excuse me, but did you hear what he said? He said…miracle!!! Even the jury announcer guy called it a “miracle”. Call it crazy, but it’s pretty fabulous. Asking for a miracle is fabulous and experiencing a miracle is really fabulous…even if its just a “mini” one, it’s still a miracle. Now I can go on with my life- go to work tomorrow, finish my taxes, etc. YAY!
Just ask for one…EXPECT it and you may experience it yourself.

be well,
